SIMA Summer Camps

At the inception of SIMA (Sumas International Motorsport Academy), the vision was to one day offer children of all ages a range of karting camps. The goal of the camps would be to guide and assist the kids in building their karting skills, empower them to work on their own equipment and master their emotions. Most importantly, it would strengthen bonds and provide a sense of community, which we all know plays such a big role in building a child's sense of purpose and belonging. ⁠

We are very excited to introduce our first set of SIMA Summer Camps. SIMA Academy is open to ALL DRIVERS, using ANY BRAND of equipment. ⁠

The summer camp will be three consecutive days of driving and fun! Our Italian Motors trained coaches will aid in honing the drivers karting techniques on and off the track. Drivers will have the opportunity to learn how to work on their own equipment during our Tech sessions as well as how to react to the inevitable difficult race days in our Emotion check sessions. Also included is the SIMA Coaching Workbook, Insurance Bands, Kids Lunch (parents can pre order and purchase lunch), Welcome Breakfast, Wrap Up BBQ for families and Ice Cream on one of our outings.

Families can also bring their RVs or tents and remain on site for the three days.

Cadet Camp - Ages 7-11

Cost: $1399 + taxes
Includes all of above PLUS a set of Le Cont tires, a can of fuel and a bottle of oil!

Event requirements

Drivers must have one parent on site during track time (10am to 1:00pm) or a notarized form completed and a representative to sign the form and remain at the track.
Drivers are required to have their own equipment.
Equipment must be in good racing condition.
All drivers must bring a table and a set of tools.
Have drivers bring their bikes and helmets (if they own one).
